This silly blurb about some emails from Scarlett Johansson to Barack Obama is pretty dumb, but the most horrifying part of this Washington Post blog entry are the racist and pathetic comments that come after.
I couldn’t even get too far into the comments before I had to stop, but this is just a taste of what I fear is to come from some catastrophically misguided Americans.
I had heard this story a couple weeks ago and didn’t think much of it, other than feeling a little jealous of Scarlet getting to e-mail with Obama! You know we would if we could. Those comments are absolutely terrifying…the stuff people feeling comfortable saying with the internet’s shield of anonymity is really sad and frightening.
I know you’re at work but the nytimes online has been having a great play-by-play of the NH event today. Obama and Clinton are wearing coordinating clothing! Crave that.
