It is exciting that in the past few years America has made genuine progress in becoming greener. But now that we've all got our reusable bags for the grocery store, it's time to take on bigger issues! There is so much left to be conquered (bottled water is a HUGE crisis that needs to be addressed, factory farming, etc etc, it's truly endless) that I think we've all forgotten about while we're busy patting ourselves on the back. I guess all we can do is try. I don't really have any answers either. Also, I look forward to Encounters at the End of the World...I saw the trailer the other day when I saw a truly ridiculous movie (The President's Analyst) while trying to stay cool at the Film Forum.
